Project Problem

Millions of children with fine motor disabilities are excluded from fully participating in sports, missing out on opportunities to build confidence, teamwork, and physical skills. Traditional sports equipment isn’t designed with their needs in mind, leaving many kids on the sidelines.

Project Solution Description

SLAM is a simple, strap-on acrylic board with a cushioned hand grip that enables children with fine motor disabilities to better control a basketball during dribbling drills. By making basketball more accessible and skill-building more achievable, SLAM boosts confidence and promotes inclusivity in sports. The tool is available in multiple sizes and is uniquely positioned with no direct competitors.
